I have been a PGA Professional for the last twenty three years. I started playing golf when I was thirteen years old. I qualified at the state level my junior and senior years of high school and finished in the top 10 in the state of PA. I played college golf at Clarion University of PA, where I was on the PSAC all conference team, and Captain of the Clarion University golf team. I started in the PGA in 1996 where I did my apprenticeships at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida and Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey. I was Head Professional at Great Bear Golf and Country Club, Stroudsburg PA for 12 years and now have been at Maple Dale Country Club for 12 years.
Over my years as a PGA Professional I have been “2004 Player of the Year” of the PPGS, won over 10 times at local PPGS Pro-Ams and was an alternate for the Nationwide Tour at Glenmaura National Golf Club in 2005.
I am also well rounded in teaching and growing the game of golf. I have been on the PGA President’s Council for Growing the Game since 2002 and have been through Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist, Callaway and Mizuno training for custom fitting clubs. I have given over 100 private lessons each year to Men, Women, Seniors and Juniors for the last 20 years.
