Meet Our Golf Pro, Chris Brosius
I have been a PGA Professional for the last eleven years. I started playing golf when I was thirteen years old. I qualified at the state level my junior and senior years of high school and finished in the top 20. I played college golf at Clarion University of PA, where I was on the PSAC all conference team, and Captain of the Clarion University golf team. I started in the PGA in 1996 where I did my apprenticeships at Jonathan's Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida and Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey.
Over my eleven years as a PGA Professional I have been "2004 Player of the Year" of the PPGS, won over 10 times at local PPGS Pro-Ams and was an alternate for the Nationwide Tour at Glenmaura National Golf Club in 2005.
I am also well rounded in teaching and growing the game of golf. I have been on the PGA President's Council for Growing the Game since 2002 and have been through Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist, Callaway and Mizuno training for custom fitting clubs. I have given over 100 private lessons each year to Men, Women, Seniors and Juniors for the last 15 years.
